The Free tier provides full core functionality for personal finance tracking:

Local-first — your financial data is stored on your device, and Acclo IQ runs no server that stores your financial records. The Free tier runs on any device independently without an activation key; Pro adds 3 device activations with Cloud Sync.

Pro Tier

Pro unlocks advanced features for power users:

  • Unlimited accounts and tags — track as many bank accounts and credit cards as you need
  • Budget history and trends — view spending vs. budget over time
  • Year-over-year analysis — compare spending month-by-month across years
  • P&L Statements — Statement of Activity with income, expense, and net income breakdown
  • Unlimited recurring history — detection looks beyond the Free tier’s 12-month window, so annual renewals and other long-cycle charges are found too
  • Unlimited bank sync accounts — automatic transaction import via SimpleFIN Bridge for all accounts
  • Cloud sync (E2E encrypted) — multi-device sync via your cloud storage
  • Receipt attachments — attach images and documents to transactions
  • 3 device activations — use Pro on your active devices simultaneously

Your Data Is Always Yours

Regardless of tier, your data stays on your device and is never locked:

  • CSV export is always available (Free and Pro)
  • Downgrading from Pro preserves all data — only Pro-specific features are locked
  • No data is ever deleted due to license changes

Do I need Pro to get started?

No. The Free tier is fully functional for personal finance tracking — dashboard, budgets, transactions, auto-categorization rules, CSV import/export, and bank sync (within the two-account limit). History surfaces such as the dashboard, analysis, and recurring detection show the most recent 12 months. Pro removes the history and account/tag limits and adds multi-device Cloud Sync, receipt attachments, P&L statements, and year-over-year analysis.

What’s the difference between the Free lookback and Pro’s unlimited history?

Free tier surfaces (Dashboard, Analysis, Recurring, Check Register) show the most recent 12 months of data. Your older transactions are never deleted — they remain in your local database and become visible again the moment you activate Pro.

What happens to my data if I downgrade or my subscription lapses?

Nothing is lost. Accounts beyond the Free limit are deactivated rather than deleted, and all transactions, rules, and history stay in your local database. Reactivating Pro restores the Pro feature set, including unlimited history. Any accounts that were deactivated under the Free limit are re-enabled through the downgrade-resolution flow — see the Licensing guide for details.

How many devices can I use?

The Free tier runs on any number of devices independently, with no activation key and no sync between them. Pro activates on up to 3 devices at once, with optional encrypted Cloud Sync to keep them in sync.
