Keyboard Shortcuts — Fast Navigation

Acclo IQ is built to be driven from the keyboard. The primary pages have direct shortcuts, the Command Palette lets you jump to any page or toggle the theme, and detail panels support save and cancel without reaching for the mouse. This page lists every shortcut, grouped by where it applies.

Shortcuts use Cmd on macOS and Ctrl on Windows and Linux — shown below as Cmd/Ctrl. They are active whenever you are not typing in a text field, so you can move through the app without breaking flow.

These shortcuts work from anywhere in the app (when not typing in a text field):

Shortcut Action
Cmd/Ctrl+K Open the Command Palette
Cmd/Ctrl+1 Go to Dashboard
Cmd/Ctrl+2 Go to Budget
Cmd/Ctrl+3 Go to Analysis
Cmd/Ctrl+4 Go to Transactions
Cmd/Ctrl+5 Go to Checks
Cmd/Ctrl+6 Go to Rules
Cmd/Ctrl+7 Go to Merchants
Cmd/Ctrl+8 Go to Categories
Cmd/Ctrl+9 Go to Tags

Press Cmd/Ctrl+K to open the Command Palette — a quick-access search bar for navigating to any page or toggling the theme. Type to filter, then press Enter to select.

Enter or Space Select a category

A few habits that make day-to-day use quicker:

  • Start with the Command Palette. Cmd/Ctrl+K opens a search bar for jumping to any page — including Import and Settings, which have no numbered shortcut — or toggling the theme. If you only remember one shortcut, remember this one — you can type a page name (e.g. “budget”) and press Enter instead of memorizing the numbered shortcuts.
  • Number keys for the pages you use most. Cmd/Ctrl+1 through Cmd/Ctrl+9 jump straight to the nine primary pages listed above, so switching between the Dashboard, Transactions, and Analysis is instant.
  • Save with Cmd/Ctrl+S. Detail panels save with Cmd/Ctrl+S and close with Escape. If you have unsaved changes, Escape prompts before discarding them, so you never lose an edit by accident.
  • Use / to search a list. On the Categories page, press / to jump straight to the search box.
  • Dashboard — the default landing page (Cmd/Ctrl+1)
  • Transactions — where most row-and-panel editing happens
  • Categories — the page with the richest set of list shortcuts
  • Settings — configure the app and manage your data
